I joined an ornament exchange this year. I just found out that my partner, Roxanne received her biscornu ornie so I can post some photos. Roxanne had expressed her fondness for some of the biscornu finishes I had done earlier so I thought she would like a xmas themed biscornu. The fabric is actually14 ct tan which does not show up well in my photos. The design is approx. 50 by 50 I left 3 empty rows and stitched a row around the design and then backstitched around that. I used my backstitching to whip stitch the sides together. It isn't a traditional xmas pattern but I do like how it came out. The design is a freebie which can be found here: http://myauntsattic.web-log.nl/myauntsattic/2007/04/index.html
The other biscornu is a mini done is shades of purple and green. It is also a freebie found on the same blog here: http://myauntsattic.web-log.nl/myauntsattic/2007/05/index.html
A while ago I signed up to do a pif for 3 people on Viv's blog. You can read more about it my earlier blog post if you are interested. Only 2 have signed up so far, so if you would like to receive something stitched from me within 365 days and are willing to stitch things for 3 other people send me an email with your address and when you least expect it you may get a surprise in your mail from me.
