Beaded ID badge holders or necklaces

These are quick to do. I use metallic thread a small crochet hook and some pretty beads. They wear and hold up well. I have one I did for myself which is over 20 years old and I still get compliments on it. I make them long ( 24 to 34 inches). I use them for my transit/ metro passes because they are very light & save me from digging into my bag or pockets.

Yes that is my ID from A&S which I wore. I had short hair back then. I was the voice that A&S shoppers heard over the speakers thanking everyone for shopping at A&S & announcing various things like the store will be closing in 5 minutes. Funny I had forgotten about that. I actually dated a few guys because of my voice. They just had to meet me, lol. I wore high heels then because comfort wasn't important. I also scarred a few away as soon as they realized I towered over them.

My nick name in college was " Snow White", because someone saw me (dark hair, red lips, fair & fresh scrubbed) standing with a group of 7 short guys at a party. After that I heard "Snow, where are your elves? Any openings for another elf?" The Snow White thing although a compliment got on my nerves after a few years. Anyway I am no longer "Snow" looking for a prince but I am doing Christmas Elf duty. A few of these beads will be holiday gifts & a few will going on my Etsy store.
